1. Facial Recognition Lock
To set it up, go to Settings > Security > Screen Lock and choose Face Unlock and take a picture. You can set up a back-up pin.
You can set-up “Presence Check,” which requires you to blink.
2. Handy Gestures
If you had your own Galaxy S4, you’d be able to simply wave your hand (without touching the device) and still be able to control it.
Go to Settings > My Device > Motions and Gestures > Palm Motion, where you’ll find different options.
3. Type by Swiping
Gesture typing allows you to compose messages by dragging your finger from letter to letter. It is the default Samsung keyboard or you can download the SwiftKey app for free from Google Play (it’s actually just a great all round keyboard – we highly recommend it).
4. Voice Search
Click on the microphone icon in Google search (or say “OK Google”) and send an email or text, by saying, for example “Text Cindy, I will be there in 5 minutes” or ask any question you’d otherwise type into the search bar.
5. Access Your Open Tabs From Anywhere
You need Google Chrome for this one. Click on “Other Devices” from Menu or the New Tab Page to access all other open tabs on devices in which you are signed into Chrome.
