We are obviously obsessed with everything technology related, but some people don’t share this love and actually suffer from some of these tech phobias:
This is the fear of being without your mobile phone. And we all probably suffer from it to a a certain degree, as suggested by a survey done in the UK. The survey found that 66% of the population suffers from nomophobia.
The fear of losing the remote. Us millennials don’t understand how our parents could cope with having to get off the couch to change the channel and some people even suffer from a severe fear of losing the remote control.
The selfie might have been last year’s word of the year and basically everyone who has a camera phone has taken at least one, but some people have a phobia of taking pictures of themselves. It has been officially classified by medical practitioners, but the Internet has spoken and has decided that it’s a real thing.
The morbid fear of technology exist in some people. We don’t know any of these people, but according to some they are frighted of new technology, especially computers and they completely believe that their fears are justified.
Another fear that is difficult to grasp, is the fear of telephones. How terrible must it be to be completely freaked out by the idea of using a telephone, especially in an emergency situation.
