Electronic Arts Inc. announced on 5 September 2014 that The Sims 4 is available on PC in South Africa. Now the time has come to create and control a brand new generation of Sims.
What to expect
The new game promises to bring you the most interactive and customised Sims to date.
“Every Sim is unique in The Sims 4, your own individual creations that come to life with big personalities and endless possibilities,” said Rachel Franklin, Executive Producer for The Sims 4. “Who they are on the inside changes the way you play. Your Sims embody the traits and aspirations you give them in The Sims 4, and playing out their charming, hilarious and crazy stories has never been more fun.”
Previously you only controlled your Sims’ bodies and thoughts, now you will be able to control their emotions as well.
Build A Sim and Build Mode has been completely revamped and you are able to shape the Sims and their homes in a new way, featuring direct manipulation and drag and drop functionality.
Another cool new feature is the ability for players to share their creations directly in the game. Players are able to upload or download Sims, their houses and even individual rooms in the new Gallery.
New Sims with bigger personality and richer emotions, a new Build Mode and an in-game Gallery are only a few reasons why The Sims 4 is likely to be the most enriching gaming experience of the franchise. Not that Electronic Arts Inc. has anything to worry about as The Sims has sold 175 million units to date.
