WhatsApp for PC is here.
Finally, you will be able to use WhatsApp on your desktop. WhatsApp announced on its website that millions of users will now be able to use WhatsApp for PC in the form of web client for Android and Chrome.
The new web app will connect to your phone’s WhatsApp and “mirrors conversations and messages from your mobile device”. Your phone needs to be online in order for WhatsApp for PC to work and all of your messages will still be kept in your phone.
WhatsApp plans to roll out support for more browsers to run WhatsApp for PC. iPhone users will unfortunately not be able to use WhatsApp for PC:
Unfortunately, for now we will not be able to provide the web client to our iOS users due to Apple platform limitations.

If you are running WhatsApp on an Android device you can connect your Google Chrome browser to your phone. Here’s how to connect your Google Chrome browser to your WhatsApp on your Android phone: Go to https://web.whatsapp.com in your Google Chrome browse > Scan QR code insider of WhatsApp and you are set.
Your phone’s WhatsApp will now be paired with WhatsApp for PC. Remember that your phone has to stay connected otherwise it won’t work. Also, ensure that you are running the latest version of WhatsApp on your Android phone.
