E3 is currently underway, which means millions of gamers are currently running on energy drinks and adrenaline. This morning the E3 Bethesda 2015 conference took place, so take another sip of Red Bull because we’ve hooked you up with everything you need to know:
1. Fallout 4
Everyone’s been waiting for some more news on Fallout 4, especially after the release of the first trailer. And the Bethesda E3 2015 conference didn’t disappoint. The biggest announcement for Fallout 4 has to be that it’ll be released on 10 November 2015 for PS4, Xbox One and PC and you can preorder yours now for $59.99 (about R744.47) here.
New gameplay details were revealed, which include:
- Fallout 4’s Combat will use Fallout 3’s VATS system;
- A new crafting system has been introduced;
- Classic game homages will be playable in the new title;
- The collector’s edition comes with a Pin-Boy; and
- A mobile game, Fallout Shelter is now available for free for iOS.
A new gameplay trailer for Doom was released this morning. It was also revealed that Doom will be released in Spring 2016 (March – June) for PS4, Xbox One and PC. The trailer has some pretty gruesome and violent moments, so if you’re a child, sensitive viewer or someone currently eating something, maybe don’t give it a watch.
3. Dishonoured 2
Dishonoured 2 is the stealthy sequel to the 2012 game, Dishonoured. The debut trailer was released this morning at the E3 Bethesda 2015 conference and shows how the rightful heir to the throne, Emily Kaldwin, take-down an assassin. Dishonoured 2 will be released in Summer 2015 (June – September) for PS4, Xbox One and PC.
4. The Elder Scrolls
A video clip was shown of the newly launched The Elder Scrolls Online: Tamriel Unlimited. It was also announced that a new tablet game, The Elder Scrolls Legends will be launched. The Elder Scrolls Legends is a free strategy card game which is set in The Elder Scrolls environment.
