Unravel

There were a whole array of announcements regarding reboots and sequels at EA’s conference this year, and we’ll get to them just now. However, Unravel is a completely new puzzle-platform game from EA and probably the cutest game we’ve seen since Little Big Planet. You play with a little yarn bear, called Yarny, that unravels as it walks and is such a sweet little thing.

Mass Effect: Andromeda

Mass Effect: Andromeda is only coming out in late 2016, but fans got a first look at the upcoming game at the EA E3 2015 conference. Enjoy this first look, because there is still another E3 to go before the game comes out so we might have to wait a while before another update:

Mirror’s Edge Catalyst

This first-person action-adventure video game will be coming back in February 2016, with Mirror’s Edge Catalyst. It has been nearly 8 years since the original and the trailer shows some serious updates to the graphics, storyline and gameplay. And wow! The graphics! Check it out for yourself:

EA Sports

The company announced at the EA E3 2015 conference that it has been placing more emphasis on improving gameplay and the player-experience, instead of major upgrades and reboots. For instance, you can now create a 3D rendering of your face for NBA Live 2016 using a face-scanning app, called GameFaceHD.

Need for Speed

The biggest reboot EA is releasing is the new Need for Speed (no title yet), with EA calling it “the richest customisation ever seen for the franchise“.  This new title from the popular racing franchise introduces five new ways to play. You can now use Speed, Style, Build, Crew and Outlaw to perfect your racing experience. The game will be released in November 2015.

Star Wars: Battlefront

We’ve saved the best moment from the EA E3 2015 conference for last. We finally got a look at gameplay footage for the multiplayer mode for Star Wars: Battlefront and it looks so freaking cool! Luckily we only have to wait until November 2015 for the game and a month later we get to see the new movie. The gameplay footage for the multiplayer mode was captured on a PlayStation 4.
