Former Top Gear hosts, Jeremy Clarkson, Richard Hammond and James May, have signed on for a new motoring show that will air in 2016 on Amazon Prime.

After Jeremy Clarkson was sacked months ago from the popular BBC motoring show following a “fracas” with one of the show’s producers, fans were devastated. Basically as soon as Clarkson was fired, Richard Hammond and James May declined offers from the BBC to renew their contracts with the show, with May saying that he would always stick with his mates and that the three of them are a packaged deal.

There have been many rumours flying around that the trio would be signing a deal with Amazon Prime rival, Netflix. But it seems Amazon Prime has come up on top and I am sure we are going to be seeing some entertaining stuff from these former Top Gear hosts. The three hosts have signed a 3-year deal with Amazon Prime.

Clarkson: I feel like I’ve climbed out of a bi-plane and into a spaceship;

Hammond: Amazon? Oh yes. I have already been there. I got bitten by a bullet ant; and

May: We have become part of the new age of smart TV. Ironic, isn’t it.
