DLC (downloadable content) is the root of all evil, but we love it and have to download it. Games that extend beyond the retail release into smaller paid content. These smaller packages are sometimes great little bite-sized releases, and sometimes bigger experiences. Here is the best DLC to sink your teeth into this weekend:

The Witcher 3 DLC

The Witcher 3 DLC

What better way to spend your weekend than with 16 free DLC packs, yes, 16 free packs. CD Projekt RED promised fans that they would give use 16 DLC packs for free to celebrate and thank us for all the support that we shown them, and money too. The 16 packs range from new armour sets, new quests, and new alternative looks for the main characters in the game. The 16 packs are all available now as they rolled out over the last few months already. If you have played the Witcher 3 and feel like you need something else to do in the game, this DLC is perfect.

Batman Arkham Knight: A Matter of Family

Set before the events of Arkham Asylum, a Matter of Family DLC lets you take the role of Batgirl as you team up with Robin to save your father, Commissioner Gordon. The DLC pack is a pretty hefty content addition as it takes you to a whole new location, the abandoned Seagate Amusement Park. And guess who is back? The Joker, oh how I’ve missed him.

LittleBigPlanet 3: A Journey Home

After the events of the original game, A Journey Home is the expansion pack that we all need to gather closure on for the LittleBigPlanet 3 game. Featuring new levels, 180 new materials, items and meshes, and new power ups, the pack is definitely worth the R100. You even get to play through levels that are all inspired by the original LittleBigPlanet and LittleBigPlanet 2.
