Prima Interactive announced that the recommended retail price for the Xbox One will be R800.oo less from today, 23 July 2015.
The Xbox One Kinect-less bundle will now cost R5499.00, compared to its prior listing of R6299.00. Prima Interactive’s CEO, Ian Hepplewhite announced that:
Thursday, 23 July 2015 is D-day. The recommended price on the Xbox One 500GB console will drop by R800. Buying the console now also brings with it the promise of access to the world’s best games and the best online gaming experience.
Hepplewhite also commented on the Xbox One backwards compatibility support calling it an “amazing feature exclusive to Xbox One” and that you can continue to play your favourite titles while exploring new ones.
The new retail price for the Xbox One is now available at BT Games, CNA, Dion Wired, Toys R Us, and other retailers.
