FIFA 16 is almost upon us and Electronic Arts decided to treat fans of this popular football video game with a free FIFA 16 demo. The demo will be available from 08 September 2015 for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PC, PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360.

FIFA 16 Demo 1

Players will be able to play with 10 top Club Teams as well as two all-new Women’s Teams, one of which is the US Women’s National Team who are the current World Cup Champions. The other National Women’s Team is Germany and the 10 Club Teams that players will be able to choose from in the FIFA 16 demo are:

  • FC Barcelona
  • Borussia Dortmund
  • Borussia Mönchengladbach
  • Chelsea FC
  • Inter Milan
  • Manchester City
  • Paris Saint-Germain
  • Real Madrid CF
  • River Plate
  • Seattle Sounders

Game options for the demo include standard Kick-Off mode, FIFA Ultimate Team Draft, FIFA Trainer and New Skills Games.

There will be three stadiums to choose from in the demo:

  • Borussia-Park;
  • CenturyLink Field; and
  • Santiago Bernabeu.

FIFA 16 will be a milestone in the franchise’s history as it marks the first time since the game’s release in 1993 that female football teams will be playable in the game.

The game will feature 12 female national teams who can compete against each other in Offline Tournaments, Online Matches and in Match Day. Female teams are only able to play against each other, which is a bit disappointing but which is a true representation of the struggles female football players are still experiencing in the competitive football world.

FIFA 16 is set for release on 22 September 2015.
