We have confirmed with Ster Kinekor, South Africa’s PlayStation distributor, that the limited edition Call of Duty: Black Ops III PS4 will be hitting shelves in SA when the game launches in November. The bundle will ship in two versions.
The 1TB Jet Black PS4 Bundle Including Call of Duty: Black Ops III and the NukeTown Map
The 1TB Call of Duty: Black Ops III Limited Edition Console which will include the following :
- 1TB hard disk drive
- DualShock 4 included has a grey and orange color scheme
- Includes 3.00 system software update for that adds the ability to share short video clips directly to Twitter natively
- Call of Duty: Black Ops III standard edition
- Black Ops 3 content 30 days before other platforms
- NUK3TOWN multiplayer map.
With Sony now owning exclusive rights to Call of Duty on PlayStation, we were bound to be given yet another reason to fork out thousands of Rands on a new PS4, because, well, it’s pretty! Sony has revealed an exclusive Call of Duty: Black Ops III PS4 console with all the bells and whistles you would ever need.
The console comes packed with a 1TB hard drive, Call of Duty: Black Ops III, a pretty looking exclusive controller, a copy of Black Ops III, NukeTown Multiplayer Map, and Sony have teased that it will be one of the first consoles to ship with the 3.00 software, so no need to update anything when you get it. It will retail for $449.99 (around R6999) and will ship in a rather small quantity.
As you might not know, PS4 owners will receive DLC 30 days before PC and Xbox owners thanks to the contract with Sony. So if you are upset about this, then this will be the perfect opportunity to move on over to PS4 from other platforms. Still not buying into it? Well, clearly you need to take a look at this console first. Call of Duty: Black Ops III and this PS4 bundle will release on 6 November 2015.
