It’s no secret that we’re more obsessed with technology than ever, but not everyone feels like this is necessarily a good thing, with many believing that our generation has a major tech addition. People are even taking digital detox holidays just to get away from their over-dependence on technology and being constantly connected.

UK-based artist Ajit Johnson created a series of honest posters that depict how dependent we’ve become on technology in a rather depressing way.

The series is entitle #This_Generation and features posters created in a minimalistic style, with simple red backgrounds and basic images or just text to depict our increasingly addictive relationship with the internet, devices, social media, tech and gadgets. The series basically pokes fun at our entire generation and I think what makes the series so striking is how true each depiction probably is, even though the situations might be a bit exaggerated.
