Today Blizzard announced that the much-anticipated expansion pack to StarCraft II, StarCraft II: Legacy of the Void will be hitting stores on 1o November 2015.

Players will have to get ready as they guide the protoss legends Artanis and Zeratul as they join forces to take back their home world and rid the universe of the ancient alien evil that has plagued it for years. Players will command the mighty Spear of Adun, an Arkship capable of altering the course of a battle from above. The game will also tie up the story of Jim Raynor, a former marshal turned rebel leader, and Kerrigan, the Zerg Queen of Blades.

StarCraft II: Legacy of the Void is the conclusion to the StarCraft series that has been a fan favourite since its initial release back in 1998.  The game will be available in a Collector’s Edition as well as a Special Edition that includes a full-colour, hardcover StarCraft Field Manual, a DVD with cinematics and special features, and a CD soundtrack.

StarCraft II: Legacy of the Void will not require StarCraft II wings of liberty of Heart of the Swarm – It is a standalone game. StarCraft II: Legacy of the Void will be released on both PC and MAC simultaneously.
