Arriving way before the game’s release date, the latest in the Call of Duty: Black Ops III trailers, is the official launch trailer for the game.
The trailer is short but sweet as it showcases the game’s three main modes in gameplay, the brand new 4 player co-op campaign, the iconic multiplayer mode, and of course, the highly anticipated Zombie mode.
Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 is the ultimate 3-games-in-1 experience. In Campaign mode, you must navigate the hot spots of a new Cold War to find your missing brothers. Multiplayer introduces the new Specialist character system, which allows players to master 9 characters’ battle-hardened weapons and abilities. No Treyarch title would be complete without its signature Zombies offering. “Shadows of Evil” has its own distinct storyline set in a fictional 1940s Morg City.
Along with the trailer came the announcement of the Call of Duty Loyalty program that will reward players for playing past Call of Duty titles. You would’ve had to have reached level 10, 31, or prestige in Black Ops II, Ghosts, or Advanced Warfare to participate in the program, and for each tier you have reached, there will be a specific reward for it.
There are conditions to these rewards though. Players must reach level targets before 5 November 2015 and link their PSN ID, Xbox Live Account, or Steam account to their Call of Duty account in order for rewards to be redeemed. Also, the loyalty rewards program is only available on PS4, Xbox One, and PC, but you the targeted levels could have been reached on PS3 and Xbox 360 for them to register.
Call of Duty: Black Ops III will hit stores and digital downloads on 6 November 2015, for PS4, Xbox One, PS3, Xbox 360, and PC. Keep in mind that the PS3, and Xbox 360 versions of the game will not be shipping with the new 4-player co-op, only Zombie and Multiplayer modes.
