This week’s games to play this weekend, we are focusing on those games that when played, will stir up some rather sweet memories from our childhood. These games, no matter how old they are have the best experiences you could ever ask for, some even better that some of these over-priced games of today. The best thing about this list of games – they are all available on in a re-release some way or another.

Final Fantasy VII – PS3, PS Vita, PSP, Steam, iOS

When the earth is being threatened by Shinra, an mega-corporation that plans on sucking the life source from the planet, Cloud and his team of rebels, also known as AVALANCHE , set off to take down the organisation and put an end to their plans. Little do they know that a bigger threat, Sephiroth, has been created by Shinra by an experiment which involved an extra-terrestrial life form known as Jenova being injected into him when he was still a fetus. Sephiroth now believes that it is his destiny to take over the planet while Cloud and his team try and stop him.

I mean listen to the above description, it’s got everything and more you could ever want in a game. No wonder it was such a hit.
