It is a great time to be an Xbox One gamer as the upcoming weeks are looking fantastic. We just had the launch of Halo 5: Guardians (which we loved), we have Rise of the Tomb Raider releasing next week, followed by Fallout 4, and then the New Xbox One Dashboard will release worldwide on 12 November.

This was all shown off during the Halo 5: Live stream which celebrated the launch of the game by offering live coverage from around the world as well as developer insight, live matches, and tips and tricks for the game. During this stream Phil Spencer confirmed that the New Xbox One Experience (NXOE) will be arriving on all consoles on 12 November  which will bring a whole new way to experience your console.

Phil Spencer also confirmed that backwards compatibility will also be releasing on the same day. The new update will improve the UI along with “expanded social content and engagement.”

We have had the update for quite some time now and have already been blown away by it. But we pretty excited to get the opportunity to download Xbox 360 games onto our consoles as more than 1000 games will be available on the 12th of November, with hundreds more releasing over the next few months. Check out some of the screenshots we took while using the new UI.
