It’s no secret that Facebook founder, Mark Zuckerberg is passionate about education and now he is paving the way to better children’s educational experience. In a post on Facebook, Zuckerberg explains that him and his wife Priscilla “have a long-term commitment to improve education“.

The project, dubbed Personalised Learning Platform (PLP), is aimed at helping students reach their full educational potential.  Teachers and students will collaborate to customise each student’s learning and academic approach to achieve personalised outcomes. Technology is key in the project’s success and enables teachers and students to work together to create learning outcomes, study plans, track progress, identify areas of concern and have all the study gear you need in one convenient place. Zuckerberg explains that the use of technology in education assists teachers in mentoring and educating students.
