Peter Jackson is the man (or Hobbit) behind The Lord of the Rings movie trilogy as well The Hobbit movie trilogy.

Apparently, the popular and long running BBC sci-fi tv show’s Steven Moffat has sent Jackson numerous “incoherent” emails asking him to direct an episode. Jackson goes on to explain, while polishing his Oscar statutes, that he has been dodging Moffat’s emails and have only replied to “the ones I could understand“.

But Moffat is a difficult man to dodge. The Doctor (Peter Capaldi) arrives at Jackson’s house with a letter to sign, which could hint that Jackson will finally give in

Doctor Who has been running since 1963 and just wrapped up its 9th season. It would make all of our geek dreams come true if Peter Jackson ends up directing an episode of Doctor Who. Oh, and Jackson and his daughter (who also appears in the video) are Walking Dead fans.

If he does actually decide to direct an episode of Doctor Who is still unknown because he never actually gets around to signing the letter (or contract).
