We didn’t think life could get this good. Disney just dropped another Star Wars: The Force Awakens trailer, only a few days after it released a trailer and a set of promotional material for the highly anticipated seventh chapter in the Star Wars franchise.
What’s even more awesome is that this new trailer, presumably aimed at Japanese audiences (although the audio is in English), reveals so much more about the upcoming movie than the previously released Star Wars: The Force Awakens trailer did. We hear some fresh dialogue from new characters Rey (portrayed by Daisey Ridley) and Finn (portrayed by John Boyega) and see little BB-8 spin around and make plenty of cute squeaks and beeps.
We see Chewbacca blow something up, we see the new character Poe Dameron (portrayed Oscar Isaac) go up against a bunch of TIE Fighters and we hear Han Solo (portrayed by Harrison Ford) confirm to Rey and Finn that everything they’ve heard about the Force is true.
Our favourite moment has to be however when Rey‘s face is inches away from being sliced up by Kylo Ren‘s (portrayed Adam Driver) new double sworded Lightsaber. Kylo Ren is again seen talking to a decaying Darth Vader helmet and promising to finish what Darth Vader started. We see Princess Leia (portrayed by Carrie Fischer) looking worried…still. The trailer ends off on a hopeful note:
Hope is not lost today; it is found.
Star Wars: The Force Awakens was directed by J.J. Abrahams and is set to hit cinemas on 18 December 2015.
