There used to be a time where we were starved for any kind of Star Wars news. But with just over a week left until the official premier of the new Star Wars movie, The Force Awakens, we’re treated with a new trailer.

The new international trailer doesn’t have too much new detail to give. We hear Kylo Ren (portrayed by Adam Driver) again proclaim to a decaying Darth Vader mask that he will finish what Vader started.

Rey (portrayed by Daisy Ridley) asks new droid BB-8 where it came from and tells it that her origin is “also classified“. Rey and Finn (portrayed by John Boyega) are then pursued by a about half a dozen Tie-fighters.

Han (reprised by Harrison Ford) and Chewbacca are seen flying the legendary Millenium Falcon. No new footage of Princess Leia (reprised by Carrie Fisher) and still nothing for Luke Skywalker (reprised by Mark Hamil).

SW TFA 2

The new trailer does show us some cool new footage of new character Poe Dameron (portrayed by Oscar Isaac). We’re bound to see some epic space fights and flying sequences from this new character.

Star Wars: The Force Awakens opens in cinemas on 18 December 2015 and was directed by J.J. Abrams.
