Here are the biggest selling games of 2015.
Call of Duty: Black Ops III – 19.06 million
There is no doubt that the Call of Duty game of 2015 sold like hotcakes. The game is great and it’s a great package that includes Black Ops III: Zombies, a zombie campaign, the fantastic multiplayer, and Dead Ops Arcade. Call of Duty: Black Ops III sold just close to 2o million copies across its five platforms release.

FIFA 16 – 13.01 million
FIFA 16 released in late 2015 across five platforms, with the PS4 being its highest seller at 6.80 million copies sold. Altogether FIFA 16 managed to move a total of 13 million units
Fallout 4 – 9.60 million
Bethesda’s latest post apocalyptic title took the world by a storm in November last year, and in short time frame, it managed to sell close to 10 million copies. Surprisingly the game shipped 12 million copies in one day, and of these 12, 10 have been sold. Unfortunately it was not enough to push Black Ops III off the top spot, but who is?

Star Wars: Battlefront – 9.37 million
With all the Star Wars fever that was going on near the end of 2015, EA made the right move to release its remake of the Star Wars: Battlefront game just in time for the Force Awakens madness. The game has been highly successful since its launch selling 6.24 million units on the PS4 alone, followed by 2.70 million on the Xbox One. The fact that it is close to 10 million in total, is a big deal.
GTA V – 52 Million
Yes we know, GTA V released in 2014 on PS4 and Xbox One, and in 2013 on PS3 and Xbox 360, but the game is still selling like crazy.
In 2015 alone, it managed to sell 4.1 million copies on PS4 alone, and 1.8 million on Xbox One. In total the game has sold over 50 million copies since its initial release back in 2013, this being across its 5 release platforms. The PS4 version of the game stands strong as the 5th highest selling game in 2015, this is excluding any sales in 2014.
Batman: Arkham Knight – 4.7 million
Out of all 4.7 million units sold, 3.3 million came from the PS4 version. This is probably due to the partnership that Sony had with the game, as it even had its own Limited Edition Batman PS4 console.
The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt – 4.69 million
You would think that the Witcher 3: Wild Hunt would be much higher on this list as it was an extremely popular game in 2015 winning Game of the Year and all.
Splatoon – 3.9 million
Nintendo’s exclusive shooter Splatoon, managed to make it into the top 10, surprisingly. This is given that the game is an exclusive and went up against cross-platform games like Batman: Arkham Knight.
Uncharted: The Nathan Drake Collection – 3.4 million
As a PS4 exclusive that was on the chart for a measly 12 weeks, the Uncharted collection managed to make a stand with 3.4 million copies sold. Expect this to be a little higher as fans start to weigh in as the latest Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End draws near.
Halo 5: Guardians – 3.3 million
Halo 5: Guardians did pretty well considering it was an Xbox One exclusive title. The game moves 3.3 million units and we are confident that it will continue to sell as 2016 brings new multiplayer maps to the game that are free to all.
