Sure the TMNT series has not had the best of luck when it comes to video games, but it seems that the latest game, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutants in Manhattan, could be the redeemer.
The game is being developed by Platinum Games, the studio behind such hits as Bayonetta and Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance.

The game sees the half shell ninjas back on the streets of New York City as they take on Rocksteady, Shredder and more iconic bosses in the series. The game will feature massive boss fights and epic locations to visit. You will be able to level up your character, as each turtle has his own unique fighting style with moves, bonuses and items. Combat will be intense as you string together deadly combos and attacks, and all this will be compared across a global leaderboards.
The entire game will support up to 4 player co-op from start to finish. The game is set for release in mid 2016 for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 4, Xbox 360, Xbox One and PC. It will be published by Activision in partnership with Nickelodeon.Check out the screenshots below.
