What’s not to love after all? He is brave, a pilot, handsome, kind and witty. Marvel recognised Poe Dameron’s charm and is giving him the attention he deserves with his own comic.

Poe Dameron

Star Wars: Poe Dameron will come out in April 2016 and will be a prequel to The Force Awakens. The story, written by Charles Soule and illustrated by Phil Noto will follow the X-wing pilot’s life before he was captured by the evil First Order and the events leading up to The Force Awakens. The creators explain that:

If you think about it, Poe grew up the way we did, hearing all of these stories [about Luke Skywalker and all the events leading up to The Force Awakens].

BB-8 will also be featured and we’re excited to see more about the adorable droid.
