Quentin Tarantino is back with a brand new movie called The Hateful Eight that’s premiering in SA this weekend along with some other fun titles to catch:
The Hateful Eight
As can be expected from Quentin Tarantino, this movie is filled with famous faces like Samuel L. Jackson, Kurt Russell, Jennifer Jason Leigh and many more. The movie revolves around a bounty hunter and his slave who seek refuge in a cabin filled with some suspect characters, each with a different motive and story.
Starring Robert De Niro and Zac Efron, we don’t expect this movie to win any Oscars, but it still looks like a laugh. The movie centres around a gross old Grandpa who tricks his uptight grandson to drive him to Spring Break so he can perv-out properly.
The Danish Girl
The Danish Girl is loosely based on the lives of Danish artists and husband and wife, Lili Elbe (portrayed by Eddie Redmayne) and Gerda Wegener (portrayed by Alicia Vikander). The movie follows the story of how these two artists and lovers experience and deal with Lili’s journey into undergoing one of the first ever sex-change operations.
Another movie based on true events, The 33, starring Antonio Banderas follows the events of the 33 miners who were trapped underground for 69 days.
