Four new games hit Xbox Gold this March with a little bit of everything for everyone. Again this month’s titles on Xbox 360 are backwards compatible on Xbox One, so Xbox One owners will be getting four games yet again. The Games with Gold March is headlined by Sherlock Holmes: Crimes and Punishment (just in time for the new one), Lords of the Fallen, Supreme Commander 2, and Borderlands.

Xbox One

Sherlock Holmes: Crimes and Punishment (March 1 – March 31)

You are Sherlock Holmes! Use your impressive talents as a detective to solve six thrilling and varied cases. Solve murders, find missing persons, spectacular thefts and conduct numerous investigations that sometimes lead you into the realms of the fantastic.

The great freedom of action in Crimes & Punishments allows you to conduct your investigations in the manner you deem appropriate. Choose the leads you wish to pursue, interrogate your suspects and, from your deductions, name the guilty parties. Determine people’s fate wisely, as surprising consequences may arise where you least expect them.

Lords of the Fallen (March 16 – April 15)

The world trembles in fear as the Demonic Rhogar Legions re-emerge from their dark realm. Harkyn, a convicted criminal rejected by society, must face the Fallen Lords – in a quest to save humanity.

Plunge into a fast paced action RPG with a complex and satisfying melee combat system – where weapons, armor and skills directly affect speed and attacks. Lay waste to enemies using forbidden magic when weapons are not enough.

Xbox 360

Supreme Commander 2 (March 1 – March 15)

Supreme Commander 2 delivers real-time strategy on an epic scale. Take the role of three enigmatic commanders – former friends from each of the unique factions – as they are dragged into a conflict that could plunge the galaxy into another civil war.

Command hundreds of land, air, and sea units in spectacular environments, upgrade your armies with new weapons and technologies, and deploy enormous experimental war machines that can change the balance of power at any moment.

*Also available on Xbox One

Borderlands (March 16 – March 31)

With its addictive action, frantic first person shooter combat, massive arsenal of weaponry, RPG elements and four-player co-op, Borderlands is the breakthrough experience that challenges all the conventions of modern shooters.

Borderlands places you in the role of a mercenary on the lawless and desolate planet of Pandora, hell-bent on finding a legendary stockpile of powerful alien technology known as The Vault.
