The movie service from Google lets you either rent full-length movies from major Hollywood studios or buy them digitally on most of your mobile smart devices, computers, laptops and smart TVs. The service will work on any device you’ve downloaded the Google Play Store. Once you’ve rented or purchased a movie you can either stream it or download it to watch it offline.

No local movies are available on the service yet, but you can get classics like Forrest Gump and new(ish) releases like Jurassic World. Some movies like Fast & Furious 7 are really pricey and will set you back R119 to own and others are really cheap like R89.99 for Alvin and the Chipmunks. And as the name suggests, there are currently only movies available through the services and no TV shows.

You can rent movies from R19.99 to R34.99. You will have 30 days to watch it and 48 hours to finish watching it if you’ve already started.
