It has been a busy few weeks for us as we have been power-driving through the magnitude of new release games, but we have to say that they have all been fantastic. This week we will focus on all the best games that have released over the last few weeks so that you can get them over and done with before the next wave hits us next week.

Unravel

If you feel like taking a stroll through a light-hearted story with familiar emotional ties that related to family and the feelings we get when we remember those sentimental moments, then Unravel is the game you want to play this weekend. It’s a wonderful experience without violence. Instead you get a soothing soundtrack and a memorable protagonist.

Check out our review of the game.

Street Fighter V

Street Fighter V released this past week, and it is the only thing we are playing. The game has top-notch fighting mechanics and an intense online mode which sees you take on the world as you dominate the fighting genre. Ryu, Chun-Li and a bunch of new fighters take the stage, in a game that is lots of fun.

LEGO Marvel Avengers

The best-selling LEGO Marvel videogame franchise returns with a brand new action-packed, superhero adventure. LEGO Marvel’s Avengers features characters and storylines from the critically-acclaimed film Marvel’s The Avengers and the smash hit sequel Marvel’s Avengers: Age of Ultron, as well as playable content based on additional Marvel Studios blockbusters, including Marvel’s Captain America: The First Avenger, Iron Man 3, Thor: The Dark World and Captain America: The Winter Soldier. Play as Earth’s Mightiest Heroes in their quest to save the world

Plants Vs Zombies: Garden Warfare 2

If you are an EA Access member on Xbox One, you can already play the game this weekend thanks to the program’s early access program. The program only costs R50 a month and with it you get access to a dozen full games. If you decide to play PvZ this weekend, all your progress will carry over when you decide to purchase the final game when it releases next week Friday, 26 February 2016.

We have already played the game and loved every second of it. Here is our full preview of the game.
