The first DLC for Fallout 4 has been dated, and it will release pretty soon. Fallout 4: Automatron will launch across Xbox One, PS4 and PC on Tuesday, March 22.
This marks the first in the set of DLC to release for the game, along with a new patch which was released last week to help further stabiliSe the experience.
Automatron follows the story of a mysterious mechanist who has unleashed a horde of evil robots into the commonwealth including the devious Robobrain. You will hunt them down and harvest their parts to build your own custom robot companions. Creativity is key as you choose from hundreds of mods, weapons, abilities, and parts. You can choose their colour scheme and even their voices.
Automatron is the first in a set of DLC planned for the game. Bethesda is hard at work on its upcoming new Wasteland Workshop patch, which will further enhance the capabilities of your settlements. In May you will travel to Maine in the Far Harbor DLC, the biggest most ambitious DLC Bethesda has ever created. Bethesda is also working on a Survival Mode which will change the way we play the game, as well as a creative kit which will let players create mods usable across all platforms, including consoles.
