Recently the Samsung Galaxy S7 and S7 edge were unveiled and brought some improvements to last year’s flagship phones.

The battle between Apple and Samsung has never been this tough. Although Apple is still to release its new flagship phone for the year (the rumoured iPhone 7), these are the things that the new Galaxy S7 has that the current iPhones don’t:

Water Resistant

You can’t drop any of your iPhones in the tub because Apple hasn’t made them water resistant. The Galaxy S7 is rate IP68 dust and water resistant, meaning it can survive depths of up to 1.5 meters for 30 minutes.

Wireless Charging

You can get a wireless charging pack which allows you to quick-charge your S7 and S7 edge when you’re in a rush to get your device juiced.

Add More Memory

iPhones might have a beautifully seamless design, but it doesn’t have a MicroSD card slot to add more memory like the Samsung Galaxy S7 and S7 edge.  You can add up to 200GB of memory.

Always On Screen

The new Samsung flagship smartphones both come with an always on screen which displays basic information like the date and the time. On iPhones you have to wakeup the device to view such information

Bigger Battery

Currently Samsung is winning the battle of the battery. The Samsung Galaxy S7 sports a 3000 mAh battery and the S7 edge has a 3600 mAh battery. Compared to the 1715 mAh battery in the iPhone 6s and the iPhone 6s Plus’s 2750 mAh battery.
