Just when you thought it was safe to get your explorer’s hat on and venture into the jungle, PlayStation and Naughty Dog have come and shot down your dreams for a little longer. Yes, Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End has been delayed again, by two weeks this time.
This is the second delay that the game has faced in recent months, with the last delay caused by the need for more time to polish up the game. This then pushed its original release from March 2016 to April. This recent delay however seems to be due to manufacturing issues which have come up, causing the studio to push back the release date to make sure the whole world can play it at the same time.
Shawn Layden took to the PlayStation US Blog to announce the news
We know this news might be disappointing, and we are sorry to have to make you wait a little longer to play Naughty Dog’s latest. The good news is that the game is phenomenal — we are fully confident that it will be worth the wait and the team at Naughty Dog is eager as ever for you to experience Nathan Drake’s final adventure.
Instead of playing the game on 29 April after the U.S who were meant to get theirs on 27 April, the whole world will be able to get their hands on the game on 10 May 2016. This delay also impacts the PS4 console which Sony revealed a few weeks ago.
