She has even proved that she in fact can Tweet when she sent out a Tweet back in 2014 while opening Information Age, a new telecommunications gallery at London’s Science Museum. But she isn’t always the one running the social media accounts of the Royal Household seeing as she’s far too busy running a country. She pays people to run her official accounts and if you’re keen you can apply for that very job.
The official Royal Household has advertised a job vacancy for a social media manager for the official royal Twitter and Facebook accounts. The advertised position is for a permanent position located at Buckingham Palace for 37.5 hours a week. You could be earning a pretty penny, with the position to Tweet for the Queen offering £45,000 – £50,000 per annum depending on your experience.
