Apple had updated the specs for its MacBooks and has released a brand new and beautiful Rose Gold MacBook colour option.

Apple’s new Rose Gold MacBook joins existing Silver, Space Grey and Gold MacBook colour options. This Rose Gold colour mimics that of the iPhone 6s and the Apple Watch which both have a similar shade of Rose Gold option.

New Specs

The new MacBooks will have a 12″ Retina LED-backlit display with IPS technology with 2304-by-1440 resolution at 226 pixels per inch.

Rose Gold MacBook

Apple’s new MacBook will run on upgraded, 6th generation dual-core Intel Core M processors. These upgrades will allow the machines to get speeds of up to 1.3 GHz compared to speeds of about 1.2 GHz reached in previous MacBook models.

The new MacBook will pack 8GB of 1866MHz LPDDR3 onboard memory. There will be an upgrade in graphics with the machines running the new Intel HD Graphics 515 from the current MacBooks’ Intel 5300 GPU. The new MacBook will be able to support dual display and video mirroring, which simultaneously supports full native resolution on the built-in display and up to 3840 by 2160 pixels at 30Hz on an external display.

In terms of battery-life you’re look at:

  • Up to 10 hours wireless web
  • Up to 11 hours iTunes movie playback; and
  • Up to 30 days of standby time
