Warcraft

There is no doubt about it, the Warcraft movie looks fantastic. The movie is based on the Warcraft franchise and is set in the world of Azeroth. Think of the film as a prequel to the video game series as it depicts the initial encounters between humans and the Orcs. The film will take place over a few locations found in the video game series like Azeroth an Draenor.

Assassin’s Creed

Assassin's Creed Movie

The upcoming Assassin’s Creed film will follow the story of Callum Lynch as he discovers that he is a direct descendant of the secret Assassins society through unlocked genetic memories. He is able to relive the adventures of his ancestors through this process which takes him to Aguilar in the 15th century Spain. He will now need to learn the ways of the assassins to take on the Templars who threaten the present day.

Sly Cooper

We have already had a great PlayStation Original movie this year in the form of everyone’s favourite intergalactic heroes, Ratchet and Clank, but Sly Cooper will also make his big screen debut this year. The movie will follow the story of Sly Cooper, an orphaned racoon thief who partners up with Bentley the Turtle and Murray the Hippo to infiltrate the lair of Clockwerk, and evil Russian metallic owl. Clockwerk is hell-bent on ending the Cooper family and stealing all their international thievery secrets.

Dead Rising: Endgame

Dead Rising Endgame

The sequel to last year’s cult hit Dead Rising, will follow the story of Chase Carter, a character from the popular Capcom video game franchise of the same name. The sequel is set a few weeks after the initial film where Chase now needs to stop a secret government conspiracy from unfolding, of which they plan on destroying the country’s zombie epidemic with a nuclear bomb. This will kill all the zombies, but it will also kill all the innocent civilian who are not infected.

Angry Birds Movie

The Angry Birds movie is based on the same video game series we all love and hate. Pigs have landed in the peaceful land of the birds. Not trusting their intentions, Red now sets off to find out just what they are up to by using what all the birds know best, a slingshot.
