We can’t wait for the all-female Ghostbusters movie reboot to hit cinemas. It’s been 32 years since the original 1982 movie and we’re dying to see what Melissa McCartney as Abby Yates, Kirsten Wiig as Erin Gilbert, Kate McKinnon as Jillian Holtzmann and Leslie Jones as Patty Tolan have in store as the new Ghostbusting babes.
Sony has released a brand-new trailer in which the four all-female Ghostbusters are told that:
It will haunt you every night. Whatever it is, no one should have to encounter that kind of evil – except you girls. I think you can handle it.
To which Abby responds:
If there’s a paranormal problem, we’re the ones to answer the call.
We see how these ladies then do answer the call and kick some ghost, ghoul and paranormal ass all around New York City. There is lots of slime, jokes and over-the-top paranormal activity taking place in the new trailer. We’re even treated to a remix of the iconic Ray Parker Jr. song, Who You Gonna Call?.

Chris Hemsworth recently featured in a clip in celebration of Administrative Professionals Day as he portrays the role of Kevin who is the Ghostbusters’ assistant:
The new Ghostbusters movie was directed by Paul Feig and will feature cameos from our favourite original cast members like Bill Murray as Doctor Peter Venkman, Dan Ackroyd as Doctor Raymond Stantz, Sigourney Weaver as Dana Barrett and Ernie Hudson as Winston Zeddmore. Sadly, Harold Ramis who portrayed the role Doctor Egon Spengler in the original Ghostbusters movie, passed away on 24 February 2014.
The new all-female Ghostbusters is set to hit cinemas in July 2016. Check out the first trailer which was released back in March 2016:
