After a few rumours and reports that Warner Bros. Interactive would be bringing the original Arkham titles to current gen, we finally have an official release date and trailer to confirm that it is all real.

Warner Bros. Interactive announced that both Batman: Arkham Asylum and Batman: Arkham City will be releasing on PS4 and Xbox One in July in a package called Batman: Return to Arkham. Both titles have been remastered for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One using the Unreal Engine 4, which is a first for the series as even Batman: Arkham Knight was developed using the Unreal Engine 3.
Both games will be remastered by Virtuos, the studio behind the recently released Heavy Rain remaster, as well as Fable and Final Fantasy X/X-2 HD. The games promise to have improved graphics, models, environments, lighting and much more to enhance the visuals. Both games will release with “every single piece of DLC” ever released for the games originally on PS3 and Xbox 360. Take a look at the reveal trailer and screenshots below:
