It is that time of the year again, the season of TV show cancellations. It seems that ABC and FOX have been on a cancelling rampage as many TV shows have been cut from their renewal contracts.

RELATED: Disney Infinity Cancelled

Agent Carter which was in its second season has been cancelled. Although reviews have been high for the show, the second season has failed to grow In viewership, with lower stats than the first season. This however comes after news that Carter actress Hayley Atwell has been cast in a brand new show called Conviction where she will play a lawyer and former First Daughter who accepts a job in New York to avoid jail time for drug possession.

The Muppets

Nashville and The Family have been cancelled, this is after a few successful seasons of Nashville. The show will after its current season 4. As for The Family, its first season just failed to grow in viewership, so it will not be renewed for season 2.

The Grinder, Grandfathered, Bordertown and Cooper Barret’s Guide to Surviving Life were all axed at FOX. Probably the saddest news of all is that Muppets will not be coming back for a second season. ABC also cancelled Castle. The last standing CSI Cyber was also cut at CBS after a low-rated season 2.

That is quite a list of TV shows and we’re sad to see some go. Some of these have been going for a long time, while others just failed to make an impact. The next few days will also tell the fate of more shows like Grey’s Anatomy and Law and Order: Special Victims Unit. We will have a full list of every cancelled and renewed show after all the show reviews are over.
