News about Fast 8 has been coming in hot and fast in the last few months. Now, in one of the coolest clips yet, Universal Pictures shows how beautiful cars are being raced across the icy terrain of Iceland.
The clip is introduced by Fast and Furious franchise veteran, Tyrese Gibson who portrays the role of Roman Pearce in the movies. Along with cool cars we get to see lots and lots snow, action sequences, guns and massive explosions. We also see some sick stunts being created with different types of vehicles.
Fast 8 is the 8th instalment in the popular racing/action franchise, which started 2001.
Vin Diesel who portrays the role of Dominic Toretto in the popular franchise took to Instagram to share a cast photo for the movie. The photo features the famous faces of Charlize Theron, Kurt Russell and (a squinting) Jason Statham. Michelle Rodriquez also returns to reprise her role of Letty Ortiz. And it wouldn’t be a Fast and Furious cast photo without Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson flexing his massive muscles.
The entire cast recently officially came together to get the engines started on the highly anticipated new movie:
The new movie is set for release in April of 2017 and is being directed by F. Gary Gray. After the massive success of Furious 7, it was confirmed that another three movies will be made in the franchise.
