The latest film will see Batman, Wonder Woman, Aquaman, Cyborg and the Flash team up to face a new threat, one which will require a team of superheroes to take down.
Fuelled by his restored faith in humanity and inspired by Superman’s selfless act, Bruce Wayne enlists the help of his newfound ally, Diana Prince, to face an even greater enemy. Together, Batman and Wonder Woman work quickly to find and recruit a team of metahumans to stand against this newly awakened threat. But despite the formation of this unprecedented league of heroes—it may already be too late to save the planet from an assault of catastrophic proportions.
We already know that the film started shooting in April and is being directed by Zack Snyder, the same man behind Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, Man of Steel and the 300 series. The film will see Ben Affleck return as Batman, Jason Momoa (Game of Thrones) as Aquaman, Gal Gadot as Wonder Woman, and Ezra Miller as the Flash. We have already seen the Justice League in action (well sort of) as some members made brief appearances in the previous Batman v Superman film.
Along with the synopsis, both the new Batmobile and logo for the film were also revealed:

We can expect much more Justice League action in the upcoming years as Warner Bros. has planned various films spanning across each member’s life. A Wonder Woman film kicks it all off in 2017, alongside the Justice League movie. Both Wonder Woman and the Justice League are expected to release in late 2017.
