The Warcraft movie did something to us this past week, which caused us to run out and buy World of Warcraft. This got us thinking, what other MMORP games are really that good? Here are some of our favourite MMORP games which we suggest getting stuck into this weekend:

World of Warcraft
Thanks to the release of the movie, we just re-entered the World of Warcraft and we are loving it. If you have never played the game before, then it’s really a great time to get into it. There is a Battle Chest 5 available which contains the main game and all the current expansions. This will set you back R250, and it comes with a 30-day time card.
With World of Warcraft: Legion releasing in August, this is the best time to catch up with the series.
Sure Destiny is a shooter, but it actually goes more into the MMORP games genre than anything else. The game is set in a galaxy where there is a constant threat looming from various races known as the Fallen, Cabal, Hive, and Vex. Creatures of the darkness seek to claim the traveler for themselves, a mystical object with immense power.
While you are not taking on Raids, you are fighting these forces to take back Earth and its inhabitants. As you get stronger, the game grows and you grow with it. As new content is released like the recently announced Destiny: Rise of Iron, your character will set forth on an adventure to take on the challenges that await, with hundreds of other players at his side.
DC Universe Online
Although a little dated, DC Universe Online is the only MMORPG you need if you love anything DC. Create and customize your own powerful Hero or Villain and experience true action combat as you fight alongside and against legendary characters such as Batman, Superman, The Joker and Lex Luthor.
The game has various DLC packs available to expand the story and missions, and best of all, the game is free to play, so you can jump in without any additional purchases.
Neverwinter is another free-to-play MMORPG which we jump in and out of on a regular basis. The game is based on the popular Dungeons and Dragons series. As you enter the world, you take on epic stories and quests, all in a classic RPG-driven world.
The game merges classic RPG combat, with tactical planning and ferocious monsters to take down, to create a unique experience.
Blade and Soul
Blade and Soul is a unique MMORPG based on Korean martial-arts and culture. The game is a mixture of turn-based combat and fighting styled combos. As you create a character, you will enter a magical world filled with the power of elements like fire, water, air, and chi.
Team up with friends to take on a raid, or just explore the massive open world.
