The event highlighted how the micro-blogging social site and gaming go hand-in-hand and how Twitter helps gamers connect with one another as well as gaming events, releases, developers and exclusive, live news. According to Twitter, users on the social site are 72% more likely to talk about gaming-related topics than other average Internet users. On top of that, 54% of Twitter users in the UK have their own gaming consoles. But these statistic aren’t a surprise to us as we’ve known for years how huge the gaming industry is and how massively the market is growing.

Twitter helps gamers

Twitter’s main goal during this partnered event in London was to help gaming influencers in the UK share their gaming knowledge with other gamers and fans and connect with Vines and Periscopes. Niche demonstrated to the gaming community how they can use the company to become successful social media creators.
