This year’s E3 Ubisoft media briefing was very important for the company as it is celebrating its 30th birthday in 2016. Saying that, the games were what we came for, and Ubisoft showed off some really great titles as well as spilled more details on Watch Dogs 2, Tom Clancy’s: Ghost Recon Wild Lands.

Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon Wild Lands

As it is only the second showing of this title, we cannot help but get excited every time we see it in action. The latest trailer showed off some gorgeous action as we got a glimpse at the game’s story mode and protagonist. The game is set in Bolivia and follows a Mexican drug cartel as they turn Bolivia into a narcotics state with the production of cocaine.

The gameplay demo that we watched saw the team head into an enemy base to pick up intel. The team took a tactical route into the enemy base and picked off enemies one by one. Ubisoft announced that Ghost Recon: Wildlands will release in March 2017

South Park: The Fractured But Whole

South Park: The Stick of Truth was one of the best video games of its day and The Fractured But Whole is said to top the game and everything it stood for. We got to see the first ever gameplay demo which saw the main character create his own superhero with the help of Cartman, Kenny and the whole crew. South Park: The Fractured But Whole will release on PS4, Xbox One, and PC on 6 December 2016.

The Division: Survival

In the Division’s second expansion, you will leave the city centre as you try to find supplies to survive. Food, water and medical supplies are scarce and a blizzard threatens your route through the city edges. New enemies are on the search for the same supplies as you, which means gunfights will decide the winning team.

Eagle Flight

Ubisoft’s VR game, Eagle Flight, was announced last year at PlayStation’s E3 event. This year we finally got to see some actual gameplay of the game, and it looks great. Making use of a VR headset, you and your friends will control eagles as you fly through the air and play typical PvP matches. The demo which Ubisoft showed off was a Capture the Flag match where players would take a flag and escort it to the other side of the map. Eagle Flight will release on all VR platforms when they become available.

Star Trek: Bridge Crew

In a very quick trailer, Ubisoft revealed the much rumoured Star Trek VR title. The game seems to put you in the shoes of the Bridge Crew on the USS Enterprise as you explore the galaxy, fight off alien ships, and work as a team to survive.

For Honor

If anything, this game is nothing like Ubisoft has ever created before, and we cannot wait to try it out when it releases on 14 February 2017.

Trials of the Blood Dragon

Trials of the Blood Dragon is a mixture of the classic Trials racing game, and Far Cry: Blood Dragon, which means it will be as over the top as possible. Check out the trailer of the game, and you can download the game today as it is out now.

Watch_Dogs 2

The Dedsec invaded the Ubisoft’s stream through the only way they know, hacking. We then got to see a brand new gameplay demo, for some it was the first time seeing any sort of gameplay of the game. We saw how we would be able to hack things, and also control almost everything in the city of San Francisco. Ubisoft revealed that they are working with Sony on a Watch Dogs movie, yes, Watch Dogs will be made into a film very soon. Along with that, Sony revealed that all DLC will hit PS4 30 days before other platforms. Watch Dogs 2 is releasing on 15 November 2016.

Steep

Ubisoft showed off a brand new IP. Steep is based off a few action sports as you and your friends compete in wild challenges across various locations around the world. Start by parachuting into the alps, then grab a ski and ski down the mountain. Set a score and challenge players to beat it. The game is set in a massive open world with lots to see and do in action sport. The game is set for launch this December on PS4, Xbox One, and PC.
