We play way too much PlayStation 4. One thing that happened is that our DualShock 4 thumbsticks started to wear and tear. The rubber smoothed out, and the shaft of the stick scratched and caused damage to the inside. We however did not want to buy a new one, so we replaced the analogues with new aluminium ones.

The aluminium material allows for a longer life span as the material will not scratch when clicking in the controller to sprint. The sticks cost us R100, and we got them from CC Entertainment. You can also get Xbox One versions and put them in your PS4. Check out the video below on how to replace the sticks with the new ones:
