The Ghostbusters gadgets featured in the upcoming reboot of the popular franchise are high-tech and creatively cool.
The stars of the upcoming all-female movie, Melissa McCarthy (as Abby Yates), Kirsten Wiig (as Erin Gilbert), Leslie Jones (as Patty Tolan) and Kate McKinnon (as Jillian Holtzmann), sat down to chat about the Ghostbuster gadgets you can expect to see in the upcoming movie:
And if you were wondering, yes, those Proton Packs are apparently extremely heavy with Leslie Jones crediting carrying the Proton Pack on her back to her weight loss. Leslie Jones proclaims that she “came here a size 16. I am now a size 12“. Melissa McCarthy confirms that there is no movie magic involved and that the cast had to carry the heavy Proton Packs on their backs for real:
Do they look heavy and sharp? That’s because they are.
The Ghostbusters gadgets are cooler than ever and we can’t wait to check out all the tech in the upcoming reboot of the popular franchise.
The new Ghostbusters movie was directed by Paul Feig and will feature cameos from our favourite original cast members like Bill Murray as Doctor Peter Venkman, Dan Ackroyd as Doctor Raymond Stantz, Sigourney Weaver asDana Barrett and Ernie Hudson as Winston Zeddmore. Sadly, Harold Ramis who portrayed the role Doctor Egon Spengler in the original Ghostbusters movie, passed away on 24 February 2014. The movie is set to hit cinemas later this month.
