The cleverly called Pokémon is featured in a series on Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson’s newly launched YouTube channel. The video was made by MatPat and Ali-A who spoof fans by searching for a fake rare The Rock Pokémon.
Once MatPat finds this super strong The Rock Pokémon, he tries everything to catch him, without any success. Pokérock looks exactly like Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson in full wrestling gear, complete with a raised eyebrow and tribal tattoos. Pokérock has infinite power and cannot be caught with any type of throw or PokéBall. Pokérock has some awesome and hilarious insults he throws at MatPat and says stuff like “You call yourself a Pokémaster, Mat? Shit… you can’t even catch an STD”. It turns out Pokérock is a bit of a dick.
MatPat receives some more insults like “You little Weedle-catching bitch” before we are treated to a remix of the original Pokémon Theme, sung by the original singer, Jason Paige. The Pokérock version of the Pokémon Theme features hilariously altered lyrics that best describe most Pokémon GO players out there.
I wanna be the very best, like no one ever was.
Too bad I’m shit, like all the rest.
Pokérock is the cause.
Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson gives Pokémon GO players a message of encouragement to catch ’em all, finishing off with quoting his Pokémon character in telling everyone to go Pokéfuck themselves.
