You’re probably up to speed with all of the drama that has surrounded Jeremy Clarkson, Richard Hammond and James May. But the troublesome trio didn’t let that slow them down and have been traveling the world to shoot a new Jeremy Clarkson show called The Grand Tour.

After months of drama, delays and filming from a tent, the new Jeremy Clarkson show finally has a release date. The first episode of this new Jeremy Clarkson show is set to debut on Amazon Prime Video exclusively on 18 November 2016. A new episode of The Grand Tour will air weekly on Fridays.
The first episode of this new Jeremy Clarkson show will re-introduce motorheads to the former Top Gear trio. The premier episode of the new Jeremy Clarkson show is set in California, USA as the first of many exotic locations presented in a tent studio. South Africa was lucky enough to be one of the exciting locations for the new Jeremy Clarkson show.
A lot is riding on this first season of the new Jeremy Clarkson show as the three co-hosts have signed a three-season deal with Amazon for The Grand Tour for a rumoured price of $250 million.
Hopefully, the new Jeremy Clarkson show will do better than BBC’s failed attempt at relaunching Top Gear. The show struggled to gain momentum in its new season which saw Clarkson, Hammond and May replaced by comedian Chris Evans. Evans was joined by an array of celebrity co-hosts which included Friends star, Matt LeBlanc, Sabine Schmitz, Eddie Jordon, The Stig, Chris Harris and Rory Reid. But after just one season with the motoring show, Evans quit the race saying “he gave it his best show, but sometimes that isn’t good enough“, confirming that the revamped Top Gear battled to win back fans of the original hosts.
It’s unsure as of yet how South Africans will be able to catch the new Jeremy Clarkson show which is an Amazon Prime Video exclusive, as the service is not available here.
