October is here, and although the biggest releases this month consist of PlayStation VR titles, which will only release here in January 2017, there are other October games coming that should excite you. From Battlefield 1, to Gears of War 4, here are the 2016 October games to look forward to.

Mafia 3 – PS4, Xbox One, PC

It’s 1968 and after years of combat in Vietnam, Lincoln Clay knows this truth: family isn’t who you’re born with, it’s who you die for. Gears of War 4 – Xbox One, Windows 10

A new saga begins for one of the most acclaimed video game franchises in history. After narrowly escaping an attack on their village, JD Fenix and his friends, Kait and Del, must rescue the ones they love and discover the source of a monstrous new enemy.

Rise of the Tomb Raider: 20 Year Anniversary Edition – PS4

Rise of the Tomb Raider: 20 Year Celebration also includes the new “Blood Ties” single player content, VR support, new Co-op play for Endurance mode, “Ultimate Survivor” difficulty mode for the main campaign, 20 Year Celebration outfit and gun, and 5 classic Lara skins. This is one of the best October games that are being released.

Dragon Quest Builders is an epic sand box RPG, where everything you see is interactive and customisable! Play in the open world with enchanting stories and characters to ultimately defeat the trecherous Dragonlord and his army. This is one of the sweeter October games.
