The American band recently released a new song called Don’t Wanna Know and have now released a Pokemon GO music video for it as well.
In the Pokemon GO music video Adam Levine, Sarah Silverman and Ed Helms become Pokemon who are constantly being chased by people with smartphones.
Maroon 5 frontman, Adam Levine becomes a kind of R-rate Squirtle who boozes in the mornings. In the Pokemon GO music video, he does other wild things rock stars do, like play games on their phones in the bathroom. In this Pokemon GO music video, Sarah Silverman plays the role of an unobtainable love interest who Adam Levine pines over.
The rest of the band also dress up as Pokemon in the Pokemon GO music video, with every member rocking his own unique Pokemon style.
The cute Pokemon GO music was directed by David Dobkin who directed Wedding Crashers starring Owen Wilson and Vince Vaughn. Vince Vaughn manages to make it into the Pokemon GO music video as a Pokemon as well.
Pokemon GO has become a worldwide success and will undoubtedly continue to be referenced in pop culture for many years to come. As they say, art imitates life.
