Yoga instructor, Isabel Beltran has created a Harry Potter yoga program that is proving to be very popular. After teach one Harry Potter yoga class, the instructor decided to host a second class. The second Harry Potter yoga class will draw inspiration from the soon-to-be release Fantastic Beasts And Where To Find Them.
Isabel Beltran and her sister, Ximena Larkin came up with the idea of Harry Potter yoga after wanting to boost class attendance. Ximena Larkin was reflecting on Harry Potter at the time due to the fact that Halloween was around the corner and thought Harry Potter yoga could be a great way to draw more attendees.
The magical Harry Potter yoga class was presented over Halloween weekend and was specifically focused on the seventh and last book in the franchise, Harry Potter And The Deathly Hallows. The class was apparently gentle to accommodate witches and wizards at various fitness, flexibility and balance levels.
Wands were obviously incorporated and during the Harry Potter yoga class Isabel Beltran read passages from Harry Potter And The Deathly Hallows.
Poses from the Harry Potter yoga class drew inspiration from the magical franchise. Fans of the magical world would recognise influences in the Harry Potter yoga poses like Fawkes, Professor Dumbledore’s Phoenix, the Hogwarts Express, the Stupify spell, broomsticks, the Womping Willow, transfiguration into cat and cow, and more.
With Fantastic Beasts And Where To Find Them hitting the big screens on 18 November, Isabel Beltran will be holding another yoga class on 20 November.
