Looks pretty awesome right? If you are playing Dishonored 2 or looking to pick it up, then we have some vital tips to keep in mind during your experience:

Be Versatile

We expected to jump right into the action with all our awesome powers, but instead the first mission in Dishonored 2 acted more like a dull tutorial than a showcase of abilities.  Hang in there though as the true powers of Emily and Arno only start coming out after the first mission in Dishonored 2. Once you have hit the second mission and you start to obtain your abilities, feel free to go wild with them. When you’ve gotten to know the level layouts and fully grasp the controls, Dishonoured 2 will be yours to master.

Dishonored 2

There is no wrong or right way to play Dishonored 2. It is all about using what you have to get the best out of what you are challenged with. Even if this means you are going to try to dice up a few enemies before taking the stealth approach.

Loot Everything

Dishonored 2

Being a successful assassin in Dishonored 2 relies on money, and staying alive, this means that you need to find it. Money will not just fall into your lap, you will need to search for health vials, jewelry, and gold coins to get your wallet filled to the brim in Dishonored 2. Later on, you will be able to use all this shiny currency for buying and upgrading equipment. You will find loot everywhere in Dishonored 2, in every bathroom cupboard, in every nook and cranny, and even on the floor.

Quick Save And Quick Load Often

Dishonored 2

The original Dishonored relied on saving in a brief moment, and loading to another save. Arkane Studios saw how vital this was to a gameplay and implemented a quick save/load option in Dishonored 2. It literally takes split seconds to quickly press your menu button, and click on quick save. If you are stuck in a pickle and don’t know if you will make the kill in front of you, then save, try it, and load if you fail terribly. This feature makes it great for those who are trying to do the impossible by completing Dishonored 2 without taking a life.

Plan Ahead

Dishonored 2

There are so many ways to approach a mission in Dishonored 2. As you grow with either Emily or Corvo, depending on who you choose, you will master their movement system. This means that when you enter an area in Dishonored 2, use every vent, table, street pole, and chandelier, to scout the area. That in combination with Dark Vision, will let you see enemies around you and plan your route through the area.

We will have more on Dishonored 2 as we delve deeper into the game’s fantastic world. Dishonored 2 is out today for Xbox One, PS4, and PC. You can grab a copy HERE. Picking the game up? Let us know in the comments below.
