Bloodborne

Bloodborne

When From Software was given an opportunity to work on a Dark Soul-esque game, the developer produced one of the best RPGs ever created, if not even better than Dark Souls itself. Bloodborne takes players to the dark city of Yharnam where they begin the hunt. Every boss, all the enemies, and every location as been carefully designed to kill you over and over again, and we expected nothing less from the infamous From Software.

The Order: 1886

The Order 1886

The Order: 1886 was like playing through a cinematic masterpiece, as it is one of the best looking PS4 games ever created. Saying that, it only lasted around 6 hours, but it was just enough to experience the Knights of the Round Table’s journey as they try to uncover the darkness that lies beneath London. Vampires, werewolves and half-breeds all call this place home, and it is the Knight’s job to eradicate them. If you are looking for a quick experience, and an easy platinum, then give this a go.

Horizon Zero Dawn

Horizon Zero Dawn

The creators of Killzone were hard at work on what could be one of the best new IPs of this generation. Horizon Zero Dawn follows the story of Aloy, an outcast, an orphan, but most of all a fighter who sets off on a wild adventure to try to discover the story of how the humans vanished thousands of years ago, and where do all these mechanical creatures come from? Set in a breathtaking open world, Horizon Zero Dawn is by the far one if the greatest PS4 games in years.

inFamous Second Son

PS4 Games

inFamous Second Son picks up where the last game ended back on the PS3. The mutants, or people who have power over certain objects and elements, now live in hiding, as the Second Son, a group of extremists, plan to eradicate them from the planet. If you were ever obsessed with X-Men as much as we were, then Second Son is your game. Delsin has the ability to control neon, smoke, and even concrete, and he uses this power to fight back the Second Son once and for all.

Killzone Shadowfall

Killzone Shadowfall

Killzone Shadowfall was a release title alongside the PS4, and still today it stands as one of the best looking PS4 games. If anything, it was a benchmark for what the PS4 is capable of.  Shadowfall is just a good old FPS game, and as gorgeous as it looks, it also makes use of the DualShock 4, and has a solid story to it too. Just goes to show that you can have it all in one game.

The Last of Us: Remastered

The Last of Us

The PS4 generation has been filled with remasters, but The Last of Us: Remastered has to be something you play, even if slowly. The Last of Us has one of the greatest stories ever told in PS4 history, as well as two of the most lovable characters to ever enter our gaming hearts. Ellie and Joel took us on an emotional story through a post-apocalyptic world, as they grew on each other, and slowly became family.

The Last Guardian

The Last Guardian

The creators of Ico and Shadow of the Colossus really outdid themselves with The Last Guardian, and once we picked it up we could not put it down. The game follows a mysterious journey as a young boy wakes up next to a beast named Trico. They now need to discover what is going on in this kingdom, and at the same time work together to get through the game. Let us not mention the rivers of tears as the boy and the beast become two of the best friends.

Until Dawn

Until Dawn

Taking a page out of the Telltale series, Until Dawn is a cinematic horror experience that sees players making tough decisions that can ultimately kill their friends. A group of teenagers has escaped to their friend’s holiday resort atop a snowy mountain, but things are not what they see as they get stalked by a crazed serial killer, and a few other things that want them dead.

Nioh

While From Software was not behind the development of Nioh, the game has some inspiration from the Souls series with its intense combat, and brutal difficulty. Nioh takes you through Japan as you fight off creatures that have been turned into monsters thanks to the power of Amrita. Different weapons, skills, and everything we love about a Souls game you will find in Nioh, the only thing is that it is with an awesome Japanese skin, that screams personality.

Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End

PS4 Games

Last but not least we have Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End. It could be the only PS4 game you need to play, but we suggest you try them all anyway. Uncharted 4 is one of the best adventure PS4 games around, and the best Uncharted game in the series. It has more shooting, more characters, more action, and of course the stunning locations that make it a masterpiece in game design. You have to play Uncharted 4, and if you don’t have a PS4 to do so, then we suggest you get one soon.
